The Company owns and operates Hotel Broadway, New Delhi, which is home to the celebrated 'Chor Bizarre - India's Restaurant'. In 1996 RWTUV, Germany certified Hotel Broadway as India's first ISO-9002 Hotel, Restaurant and Banquet facility - the highest recognition for quality in the country, an exceptional tribute to the O.W.H. team and a rare honour for a hotel built in 1956.
O.W.H. has been operating the hospitality facilities and cultural events at the India Habitat Centre since 1997. Located in the heart of the city, 'Habitat World'(as the hospitality facilities at IHC are known), boasts of the country's most comprehensive Convention Centre with 20 function rooms, a members' club with 58 guest rooms and a fitness centre, 6 restaurants and 4 performance venues.
Since its opening in 1997, Habitat World has held between three and four cultural events every day - be it theatre, music concerts, dance performances, films, talks or open fora and has seen some of the most illustrious names in the world participate in its cultural calendar. Habitat World serves over 5000 meals daily, hosts over 6000 conferences and banquets each year and organizes over 1000 live cultural events annually, making it India’s largest foodservice and entertainment destination.
O.W.H. also operates Epicentre in Gurgaon which brings to that part of the NCR an auditorium, an art gallery, an amphitheatre, a restaurant, conference & banquet rooms and a 45000 sq ft exhibition hall.
O.W.H. operates over 30 restaurants in the N.C.R. including Chor Bizarre, Indian Accent, Drift, Tikka Town, New Delhi’s first ever food court Eatopia with 6 sub brands. The restaurants at Habitat World - The All American Diner, Oriental Octopus, Delhi ‘O’ Delhi, Past Times and The Deck have all carved out their special niches. Operating different restaurant concepts, straddling every concept, cuisine and wallet with equal panache is O.W.H.’s forté. With over 800 employees in the N.C.R., O.W.H. has invested in people and a very strong training programme. Its management depth is further proven through the successful operation of its award winning restaurant Chor Bizarre in the food capitol of the world - London.
'Chor Bizarre', commenced operations in Mayfair, London in 1997 and has won several accolades, including being voted as one of the Best 10 Restaurants in London by The Independent and The Best North Indian Restaurant in U.K. by The Good Curry Guide. It was also stated amongst 'The top 5 restaurant imports in the world along with Nobu, Vong, Asia-de-Cuba & Mju' by Evening Standard, Metro. In the afternoons Chor Bizarre converts into Chai Bazaar serving 30 different teas from India and traditional Indian sweets and street snacks.
Events Etc., the Catering and Entertainment division of O.W.H is considered the most premium service of its kind in New Delhi with a team of talented Chefs and Managers. Counting the major Embassies, top corporates and Delhi’s most discerning hosts as its regular clients, it has also executed large location caterings as well as held Food Festivals overseas at The Ritz, Paris, Harrods, London, The Cannes International Film Festival etc.
The O.W.H Management Consultancy Services Division has carried out several assignments for blue chip companies in India and overseas. This division, in addition to being the foremost food & beverage consultancy of its kind, prides itself as probably the only one with experience in planning and executing clubs and convention centres.
Old World Academy is the educational arm of the group that organises continuing educational courses and workshops and has held several programmes including collaborations with the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University and the Tisch School for Arts, N.Y.U.
